Job Overview
Join our innovative team as a Sales Director, where you will play a pivotal role in consultative sales within the subscription economy. You will collaborate closely with the Salesforce channel to enhance bookings and manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to successful closure. This position offers the opportunity to engage with C-Level executives, delivering compelling presentations while coordinating with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of Statements of Work (SOWs) and necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sales process, overseeing all accounts and opportunities within your designated territory from lead generation to closure.
- Deliver persuasive and engaging presentations to C-Level executives and key decision-makers.
- Ensure the timely completion of essential documentation, including proposals and SOWs.
- Collaborate effectively with the Sales Engineering team, Practice Leads, and Subject Matter Experts to guarantee customer satisfaction and successful outcomes.
- Navigate and manage complex decision-making processes to close consulting services engagements.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline using CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales quotas and essential activities for success.
- Proactively forecast business outcomes and manage close plans.
- Collaborate with Alliances to formulate territory strategies and maintain relevance within the market.
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and engage with key Salesforce stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing to showcase customer success stories in your territory.
Required Skills
- 6-10+ years of experience in developing and nurturing business relationships within the Salesforce Partner ecosystem, demonstrating a successful track record in partnerships and sales.
- 4-5+ years of experience selling services within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong consultative selling capabilities aligned with business demands and familiarity with Salesforce cloud products.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create impactful decks.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining accountability to metrics.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Salesforce.com, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other productivity applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) is advantageous.
- Experience collaborating with Salesforce partners in the CMT operating unit is a plus.
